Treating Axillae hyperhidrosis

Your first line of treatment should be a powerful antiperspirant such as Odaban, Anhydrol Forte or Driclor.

Botox

Axillary hyperhidrosis can be treated by Botulinum Toxin A. This is only available in a few NHS hospitals, but is performed in many private hospitals and clinics throughout the UK.

Retrodermal Curettage

Retrodermal Curettage - or RC is only practiced by 2 doctors in the UK as far as we are aware. It is only suitable for Hyperhidrosis of the axillae. In two thirds of patients, the effects are long lasting. In the other one third, the benefit is temporary and lasts about four months. If you live in the north or England, it may be possible to get this operation on the NHS; however, if you live in the south, then you will have to pay privately.
